Laser Surgery

Whenever possible, our veterinarians recommend the use of laser surgery over traditional surgical methods. Laser surgery involves the use of a device which delivers a thin beam of highly concentrated light to cut the tissues- rather than a surgical blade. Laser surgery allows for extreme surgical precision. As it cuts, a CO2 laser beam sterilizes the surgical site and seals nerve endings. This minimizes the pain, blood loss, and inflammation associated with surgery. Patients who undergo laser surgery heal faster and more comfortably than patients who undergo traditional methods.
