Total Pet Care Hospital hosts an in-house laboratory allowing us to perform a wide range of testing that helps us keep tabs on your pet’s overall health condition. This on-site capability enables us to get test results quickly so that we can start treatment right away, if necessary, to get your pet feeling better.

Our diagnostic testing includes:

In-House Culture and Susceptibility

A culture is a laboratory test that is used to identify the presence and type of bacteria in an infection. It also enables us to identify which antibiotics are most likely to be effective in killing the bacteria. We don’t have to send our cultures to their-party laboratories because we do them in-house, allowing for precise, quick, and effective treatment of your pet’s infection.
